I built this for my own business first.

Five years ago I took over an aging family business. I couldn't afford the marketing team it needed. So I built one. This is that same stack, running for other California service owners.

The story

The team I couldn't afford, built one role at a time.

In 2021 I took over Americal Patrol, a Ventura County security patrol company founded in 1986. Thirty-five years of history, and still mostly run on paper. Patrol logs written out by hand. Leads slipping through voicemail. Client reports late or forgotten. Zero online presence. A business that had earned its reputation the hard way, and was quietly getting left behind.

I mapped what a real marketing operation would cost. SEO specialist. Google Ads manager. Content writer. A website. A sales coordinator. A marketing director to run the whole thing. I priced it out: $25,000 to $60,000 a month. I wasn't going to find that in the budget of a security patrol company that was still printing logs by hand.

So I started with one role. I sat down with Claude and built the SEO system first. Then the content system. Then the website. Then the sales pipeline. Then the client reports. One role at a time, running in production for my own business before I trusted it for anyone else's.

Five years later, 14 autonomous systems run in the background of Americal Patrol. 47 hours a week of admin work are gone. We went from not ranking anywhere online to Top 3 for the search terms that actually bring jobs. Revenue is up 43% since takeover. Clients get updated before they walk into their office in the morning. The aging business that almost folded is now running agency-level ops.

Along the way I realized every small-business owner I knew was hitting the same wall. They needed the team. They couldn't pay for the team. So they did a fraction of the work themselves, at night, and let the rest slide.

WestCoast exists to give other owners the team they can't afford yet. The same systems that saved my family business, shaped around how you already run yours. You stay at the wheel. The goal now is simple: be the go-to studio for service-business owners across Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, and Orange County who want agency-level ops without agency-level bills.
